![]() Ethnos, the association of Finnish ethnologists,
is engaged in issues of science policy as they relate to people working
in various fields of ethnology. Ethnos was established in 1972 to unite
ethnologists in Finland and to further their scientific and professional
objectives. One of the objectives of Ethnos is to promote and raise awareness
of ethnological research. The association may accept as members those persons
with an academic degree who are employed or work in equivalent conditions
in the field of ethnology, be it in research or teaching. Students of ethnology
may also be accepted as members.
